Technicians are responsible for the installation of access control systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV and other systems that make businesses more secure and efficient. Potential candidates must have experience installing and servicing the previously mentioned systems.

Who You Are:
- Associates/ bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

- Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close

- Role is based around Physical Security sales (video, access control, intrusion, intercoms, and associated technologies). Fire Alarm and HVAC controls are crossover sales and do include commission splits for new business.

- Perform walkthroughs using PlanGrid
- Regularly invest time in finding new RFP opportunities
- Perform work to respond to RFP’s
- Attend manufacturer trainings

What You Are Accountable For:
- Provides technical assistance and support for access control, video, intercom, and other electronic security software.
- This position involves troubleshooting and resolving software and system-related issues, assisting user’s navigation and implementation of applications, and escalating complex problems to the appropriate team member or department.
- Develops site-specific training that ensures the owner/operator has been trained. Provides proper documentation and manuals for system operation.
- Work and communicates detailed information regarding the system design and functionality, use and purpose to end users, subcontractors, and team members.
- Attending project and support meetings as required.
- Assisting the Operation and Project team as required.
- Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with customers, contractors, and consultants.
- Excellent knowledge of Windows Operating Systems for Servers, PC, Laptops and Tablets.

- Service access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems and other systems in residential and commercial properties
- Read blueprints and electrical drawings to determine which locations equipment will be installed in
- Keep up to date on the latest CCTV, access control systems and fire alarm systems through product research and training
- Educate and demo systems to customers
- Accurately report materials used and hours worked on each job
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and errors
- Install equipment in accordance with building codes
- Gather and review all project documentation
- Daily communication with customer
- Mobile task completion
