We are seeking an AR/Collections Specialist for our Kalamazoo, MI office.

Who You Are:

• 1-2 Years of Relevant Experience 
• Experience using Sage Intacct and ConnectWise PSA is a plus 
• Experience using Microsoft Office 
• Understanding of accounting procedures 
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment

What You Are Accountable For:

• Monitor accounts receivable and identify overdue accounts.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and letters to follow up on outstanding invoices.
• Negotiate payment plans and terms with delinquent customers.
• Maintain detailed records of all collection activities and communications.
• Helpful, supportive communication and collaboration with sales and customer service teams to resolve billing disputes 
• Decision-making within clearly defined job scope based on defined policies and procedures supported by management
• Prepare and send out monthly statements to customers
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Process and record cash receipts and bank deposits
• Customer Service

• An understanding of how low voltage systems come together from start to finish 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet the needs of our clients

• Hands-on experience with Access Control and Video systems is a plus

What You Are Accountable For:

• Interpret sales and architect’s drawings with an understanding of scope and scale  
• The ability to explain complex concepts and present them alongside the Sales Team
• Work closely with the Sales Team and Manufacturer’s representatives to design multiple types of low voltage security systems 
• Stay current on the latest technologies and systems to support our customers 
• Support multiple project and client deadlines to provide deliverables to our customers
• Work closely with our field teams to solve problems

We are seeking Installation Technicians for our Grand Rapids, MI office. 

Who You Are: 

• 2 years or more of CCTV and access control system installation experience 
• Valid Driver’s license 
• High School Diploma or equivalent 
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds 
• Ability to climb ladders and work in small spaces 
• Proficient with power tools and electronics 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 
• NICET certification a plus 

What You Are Accountable For: 

• Install access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems and other systems in residential and commercial properties
• Read blueprints and electrical drawings to determine which locations equipment will be installed in
• Keep up to date on the latest CCTV, access control systems and fire alarm systems through product research and training
• Educate and demo systems to customers
• Accurately report materials used and hours worked on each job
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and errors
• Install equipment in accordance with building codes
• Gather and review all project documentation
• Daily communication with customer
• Mobile task completion

Who You Are:

• Minimum of 2-year previous account development, sales or relevant experience preferred.

• Committed to continuous education through workshops, seminars, and conferences.

What You Are Accountable For:

• Generate new business and grow existing accounts in all lines of business including service and installation solutions for new and/or existing customers. 
• Develops and implements sales marketing strategies to penetrate multiple markets.
• Service existing customer accounts, obtain new orders, and establish new customers by planning and organizing a daily work schedule.

• Keep management informed by submitting activity and results, such as daily calls, customer follow-ups, potential customer cold calls, and important interactions through use of our CRM systems.

• Extensively network through groups, organizations, and contacts that would have relevance to potential customer acquisitions.

• Be adept at needs-based selling.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, vendor training and self-administered/motivated training.
