What You Are Accountable For:

  • Install access control systems, CCTV, fire alarm systems and other systems in residential and commercial properties
  • Read blueprints and electrical drawings to determine which locations equipment will be installed in
  • Keep up to date on the latest CCTV, access control systems and fire alarm systems through product research and training
  • Educate and demo systems to customers
  • Accurately report materials used and hours worked on each job
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and errors
  • Install equipment in accordance with building codes
  • Gather and review all project documentation
  • Daily communication with customer
  • Mobile task completion

We are seeking a Physical Security Sales Engineer to bebased out of our Troy, MI or Lansing, MI offices.

This is a hybrid role that does not require you to come into the office every day.

Who You Are:

  • An understanding of how low voltage systems come together from start to finish
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to meet the needs of our clients
  • Must be extremely organized and exhibit a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Hands-on experience with Access Control and Video systems is a plus
  • A Collaborative work ethic

What You Are Accountable For:

  • Interpret sales and architect’s drawings with an understanding of scope and scale
  • The ability to explain complex concepts and present them alongside the Sales Team
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and Manufacturer’s representatives to design multiple types of low voltage security systems
  • Stay current on the latest technologies and systems to support our customers
  • Support multiple project and client deadlines to provide deliverables to our customers

We are seeking an Entry Level IT Systems Manager for our Kalamazoo, MI location. 

Who You Are:

  • Be able to run trace routes.
  • Palo Alto Firewall certified preferred.
  • Be able to use Wireshark and other network packet utilities.
  • Understand how VLAN’s work.
  • Understand the basics of routing and ACL’s.
  • Good understanding of how IP addressing works.
  • Understanding or Window 10/11 and Windows Server 2016.
  • Able to do basic DB queries.
  • Able to create Power Shell scripts.
  • Knowledge of RAID 1, 5, and 6.
  • Able to replace hardware on servers.
  • Able to check compatibilities between servers and desktop/laptop systems.
  • Able to create system scheduled tasks.
  • Understanding of Power Automate and how to build, troubleshoot and maintain automations
  • Need to be able to use your resources and tools to help you resolve issues.
  • Need to be able to resolve technical issues for KWI employees.

What You Are Accountable For:

  • Resolve issues with company issued hardware I.E. Laptops, Phones, and peripherals.
  • Complete updates on company servers and hardware.
  • Monitor backups systems and overall system health of company servers and hardware.
  • Set up systems for new employees.
  • Facilitate training on company systems and software to employees as needed.
  • Complete network admin tasks I.E. build VLANs, update firmware.
  • Work with other team members to expand both new and existing network infrastructure
    and systems as we grow.
  • Work with Microsoft Office 365 Admin tools.
  • Work with Microsoft AD
  • Work with Mitel phone systems.
  • Run reports for Compliancy and overall system health.
  • Ownership of internal security systems operations.
  • Work with Sharepoint for internal documentation and groups.
  • Must be able to work after hours occasionally and travel to remote offices.
