Building Automation Specialist
Knight Watch, Inc. is seeking a Building Automation Specialist for our Grand Rapids location. The Building Automation Specialist shall be tasked with performing the following duties: Installation coordination, I/O controller programming, system commissioning, system integration, and project closeout documentation.

Responsibilities:
- Program and integrate various I/O controllers into a single user interface.
- Confirm project requirements by reviewing submittal drawings, project specifications, and networking requirements with Sales Engineer, Project Manager, and client.
- Confirm equipment operation of through point-to-point commissioning.
- Maintain accurate historical records by documenting program development and revisions while observing high quality standards.
- Ensure operation of equipment by following manufacturer’s instructions, analyzing, and establishing connectivity with network systems, troubleshooting malfunctions, calling for repairs, and evaluating new equipment and automation techniques.
- Use software and technology, along with a variety of hand-tools, to diagnose and repair equipment controls and network integration issues.
- Establish & maintain a positive relationship with customers, vendors and co-workers through effective oral and written communication skills via phone, computer, and face to face.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.
Qualifications:
- BA, BS Technical Degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- 2 – 5 years of experience in building automated control system installation, programming, and repair.
- Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office software and working proficiency with hand-held computer (i.e. Smartphone, iPad.).
- Knowledge and programming experience with integration software, specifically Niagara N4 and Schneider Electric Ecostruxure.

Installation Technician – Grand Rapids, MI
Knight Watch Inc. is seeking an experienced Installation Technician for our Grand Rapids, MI location. Technicians are responsible for the installation of access control systems, fire alarm systems, CCTV and other systems that make businesses more secure and efficient. Potential candidates must have experience installing and servicing the previously mentioned systems.
We partner with some of the largest healthcare, educational and industrial facilities in Michigan. We are a service-driven company that puts our customers’ needs before ours. Installation Technicians must be passionate about customer service and helping others.

Technical Support Specialist – Kalamazoo, MI
Knight Watch Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist for our Kalamazoo, MI location. The Technical Support Specialist is responsible for diagnosing and solving employee’s issues in a timely and courteous manner. The incumbent may work independently or with other team members to resolve operating system, database, and other technical issues related to Knight Watch applications. As the first line of contact for our employees the individual will be responsible for doing windows update, and routine maintenance on Knight Watch Servers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Resolve issues with company issued hardware I.E. Laptops, Phones, and peripherals.
- Complete updates on company servers and hardware.
- Monitor backups systems and overall system health of company servers and hardware.

Knight Watch is looking for a qualified Sales Engineer for our Grand Rapids, MI location. The Sales Engineer will collaborate with the sales and project teams to design and detail Access Control, CCTV, Fire Alarm, Security and other types of low voltage systems.

- Interpret sales and architect’s drawings with an understanding of scope and scale
- Work closely with the Sales Team and Manufacturer’s representatives to design multiple types of low voltage systems
- Obtain pricing from multiple distributors to maintain competitive pricing
- Design drawing packages to aid the project teams with system installations around the globe
- Work extensively with AutoCAD to draw pre-determined low voltage systems.

Qualifications:

Assistant Project Manager (APM) – Kalamazoo, MI.
Knight Watch, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Kalamazoo, MI location. The Assistant Project Manager (APM) is in a unique position to aid the project manager in handling the many tasks which our projects dictate. From project review to project closeout, the APM may at times be the link between the Customer and the other members of the management, technical and installation teams. There is exposure to all functions of project management including scheduling, meetings, purchasing, quality control and efficiency. The APM reviews change proposals, evaluates the correctness, and assesses the impact on the project schedule. At times, they will advise the Customer on scope changes, phasing and bid packaging.
The APM has the responsibility to ensure that Project Manager is accurately and fully informed of the status of any assignments and projects to which they are assigned. The major activities and responsibilities of the APM include, but not limited to; are listed below:

- Establish and cultivate long-term relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
